The problem

Gikoni Hotel had no online presence. Guests found it by word of mouth and booked by phone, and the front desk tracked rooms by hand.

What we built

  • A website in English and French.
  • Room booking with a MoMo deposit, rooms from 30,000 RWF a night.
  • A restaurant menu with orders by WhatsApp or the kitchen phone.
  • A staff console: room calendar, arrivals, printable folio, and housekeeping on a phone.

How it works

  1. A guest picks a room and dates.
  2. They pay the deposit with MoMo and the room is held.
  3. The front desk sees it on the calendar and prepares the arrival.
